Native Instruments on Indamixx

Okay,
I'm able to run Native Instruments Guitar Rig 2, Reaktor, etc., even the Service Center app (which successfully activated my products-- I'll try to create an 'NI on Indamixx' wiki and post it here). However I'm only able to run them as VSTs using VST host (which is an .exe itself, handled by WINE). Btw, I have an Indamixx Q1 2GB ...

My question is this, why is there a problem when I try to run the NI standalone executables? When I go to launch them usually nothing happens. Though, sometimes the GUI will appear and the apps will appear to work, though no sound will pass through? Any ideas what's going on?

Other .exe files will work, complete with sound. For instance, Reaper works very well. However Reaper has a function that automatically stops the audio engine and this feature needs to be turned off. Otherwise, Reaper will crash eventually.

Finally, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the Indamixx Q1 handles Guitar Rig 2 and Reaktor like a champ-- as you probably know, these are intense plugins! Turns out, I'm able to run NIs at 512 buffer with little problem at all, even when the processor use is high.
